Arabisk Skole is an independent and self-sufficient school dedicated to providing quality education in classical Arabic for all ages. Our goal is to make the language accessible and understandable for everyone, regardless of prior knowledge.

Welcome to Arabic School

Oslo Arabic School is one of the best language schools in Oslo. We are centrally located in Oslo at Trondheimsveien 42. The school makes a complicated language understandable with the help of our experienced teachers. With long experience, the school can offer courses at different levels. Therefore, we have something that suits everyone. Our school offers introductory courses, basic courses and more advanced courses, and takes place both in groups and private lessons.

The course period varies from 20 hours to 3-6 months, depending on the level and which course the student wants. The courses take place during the day, evening and on weekends so that the course best suits the student. Our goal is to teach students to read, write, speak and understand classical Arabic. With us, Arabic will become much easier to learn.

Our history

Discover our journey through the years and how we have grown to become a leading Arabic school in Oslo.

1992

Our first Arabic course

Started Arabic instruction in various mosques. We used available premises, daycare centers and other accessible rooms to give as many people as possible the opportunity to learn Arabic.

1996

Founded Islamic public library

In 1996 we established an open Islamic library with books and activities for everyone. At the same time, we offered daily Arabic lessons for students at various levels.

2004

Established Ekrpess Dataservice

We established the company Ekrpess Dataservice and opened an Internet café for everyone. The premises were partially used for Arabic instruction, but the business primarily focused on computer training and repair.

2016

Formally registered as Arabic School

The school was formally registered as Arabic School. We expanded our offerings to include instruction in Arabic, Norwegian and Persian. Data service offerings continued, but on a somewhat reduced scale.

2025

Today and the future

Today we offer a modern, flexible and personally tailored course program for children and families, youth and adults. With over 25 years of experience, we combine traditional subject expertise and modern pedagogy. We offer small groups and private lessons, both in the classroom and online, with individual follow-up, practical exercises and cultural insight.
